Welcome to Evrytania Chicago

We are Chapter 13 of Evrytanian Association of America “VELOUCHI” a national organization representing Evrytanians living in the USA and families and members of Evrytanian descent. 

Our Chapter is active in the Chicagoland area and membership is open to all Evrytanians and friends. In March of 2015, determined to bring together our members in a vibrant Evrytanian community and with the support and encouragement of many Evrytanians we reorganized our Association which was dormant for over 15 years. Among our goals are the enrichment of our members’ life with cultural activities, the preservation and promotion of our Greek language, the practice of our local customs and traditions, and sharing them with the community. Our top priority is to engage the youth in the activities of our association and create the environment to cultivate our Evrytanian identity and ensure its continuity in future generations.
